Laurie Fiona is a resourceful event production powerhouse with proven accomplishments driving experiential events for the corporate and non-profit sectors. Passionate about brand development, increasing visibility, and ushering bottom-line results, she has managed campaigns for some of the biggest players in retail, entertainment, tech and media. Currently, Laurie serves as Founder and Director of Production of Los Angeles-based Lyfevents, where she has executed high-profile experiential, interactive campaigns hosting VIP guests. At Becore and RQ Agency, she planned and launched members-only viewing parties, noteworthy private gatherings, and several high-profile publicity-driven events. She is a big-picture strategist, with savvy marketing acuity to build networks.
Laurie got her start as Event Producer for TJ Martell Foundation and Program Manager at JVS. A year later, she accepted a Strategy Consultant / Development Manager contract with Inner City Outreach, where she was retained to lead the executive team and the Board of Directors in strategic growth planning. In that role, she generated a 100% increase in annual fundraising donations, by introducing a replicable annual event that successfully elevated brand awareness and visibility across the community. At Namevents, she collaborated with the Executive Producer to plan, coordinate, and execute a million-dollar event, which entailed complex scheduling, construction of large tents, catering, and security services. She also played a key role in executing a successful movie premiere for Disney’s ‘Inside Out’.
Laurie has a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business – York University in Toronto, Canada. With laser-sharp focus, she engages vision and a contagious appetite for excellence by driving accountability to dramatically increase visibility for her clients.
Investing in real estate since the age of 21, she enjoys staying abreast of all the latest industry trends and news. In her free time, she immerses herself in interior design, architecture and travel.
